For its Inaugural Competitive Cheerleading Championships, the FHSAA partnered with Varsity Brands/Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA). Nearly 200 schools were represented in the Finals. The Finals were conducted and run smoothly as a result of this partnership and both organizations’ commitment to the promotion of competitive cheerleading. The participants were afforded the same professionalism and experience as all other students who participate in both FHSAA and Varsity Brands/UCA events. We look forward to this continued relationship for the benefit of competitive cheerleading in the state of Florida.
